Every year, Forward Montana Foundation holds The Williams Effect weekend, named for Carol and Pat Williams and created to celebrate their years of public service. A central part of the weekend is the Montana Youth Organizing Summit, bringing together activists, organizers, dreamers and doers from across the state.

This year the summit is taking a hands-on approach – we are having a weekend of action! This summit will catalyze Bozeman community members to register to vote, turn out to the November municipal election, and learn why civic engagement is so important and pretty DANG fun!

This summit is for people of all ages who want training and direct experience in registering voters and turning people out to vote. While this event is based in Bozeman, folks from all Montana communities are welcome to join. Gas cards will be available.

WHEN: Saturday, September 18th from 10 am to 3 pm; Clearwater Credit Union Happy Hour from 5 pm to 7 pm

WHERE: The MTYOS Weekend of Action will be hosted at the Anderson Pavilion located at Bogert Park in Bozeman.
